The above is, what every Indian, need to mark in bold letters, in their diaries, cars, shaving mirrors and even the facade of their houses.
This is the result of 'Macaulayisation' of India through English and the destruction of India's timeless pride. Macaulay believed that he could create a generation of white collared slaves who will toe the British line. Exactly that has happened. We accepted Yoga only after the west accepted it. Ditto for Meditation, Ayurveda, Vedanta, Fine Arts, Classical music. The Indian has become a slave to European (and American by default) opinions. Civilizations aren't just exterminated. They commit suicide only.
Will Durant said that India was and is the greatest living civilization the world has ever seen. The languages of the world owe Sanskrit for their very existence. The children world over could count just because we discovered zero. The learned people of the world could look beyond existence because we taught them Vedanta.
Venkitesh, for this one sentence above , you will be remembered by me a lot. I was looking for words to describe it. You said it.
