The concept of United States of India always appealed to me and I am so happy to see that some others are also thinking interms of such concept. In my opinion if we follow and discard some that do not suit to our country, the pattern of Governance of USA, then Indian will stabilize into a strong country with an enviable secular credentials. However, none of the present political parties are geared up for such dispassionate and committeed move. They are looking for short term gains of power. No body is really interested in the country. We need a new political party with a new charter.A new manifesto. They must include considerable autonomy to states(like USA) but some common governance like defence, transport, communications a common languaage for the purpose of communication between central and state Govts which I think should be English. The moment you give this status to any other so called Indian language, we are in trouble. let people speak and communicate in whatever language they wish the the Govt official language is different . Similarly the new charter should include uniform civilo code to every citizen. The law and order code must be applicable to every one. Tha nation must be secular in every interpretation of that word The Govt should be indifferent to any religion and it shall not promote the practices and rituals of any religion. Religion is a private affair of a person. Finally Reservation is not to be seen as encouragement. These two word are 2 different connotations. One id actually detrimental to the real progress while the other is si adisguised elixer for growth and development. Who can do this ? There are two sections of our population who can form such a party. Citizens who are below thirty to day and citizens who are above sixty years of age to day. Any takers ?
