Agreed education is important.

But there are countless tribals in Christian countries in Africa,
South America etc living in poverty, squalor and illiteracy. Why is
Christianity not helping them.

So the question is does education have to do with religion.

The only thing it has to do is that in non-Christian countries the
church using social inducements such as education.
