Thanks Dhuni Da! There is a continuing discussion on Nutrition of the smaller non-agricultural (originally and still hunters or depending mosty on forest products) tribes in Jharkhand. Some initiatives like the Rs 30,000 to families who lose their eldest male member exist but are poorly implemented. New efforts to improve ICDS by international agencies are afoot. And some are planning NREGA protests (even in Bihar for other poor people) and court cases. Prabir |
