"Dalits gradually loosing the ground were India caste determines status'
what you think is it because dalit Leaders, caste did not eliminated for thousands of years ??????
i do not think even the Marxist would say "money (class) is the only  determining factor in Indian social realities and the polity
well, there is lot in a name as far as Dalits and Adivasies are concerned
