Railway Minister Lalu Prasad is instrumental in appointing as many as 2, 000 youth from Bihar in the East Coast Railway under discretionary quota of the respective general managers, who were pressurised to do so, alleged BJD leader Sambalpur, Md Mumtaz. Lalu's affection towards the people of his home State is a matter of concern for keeping the country united, Mumtaz, former BJD district president of Sambalpur said, adding that the protest of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) against the appointment of youth from Bihar in Maharashtra is unfortunate. The whole process of appointment in Group-D category in the Railway Department in Maharashtra, Orissa and other parts of the country needs a thorough enquiry.
