Your following intervention seems to be aimed at derailing the discussion.
I shall surely prove that the sources on which you base yourself are
dubious. However, before coming to this, please answer the questions
raised by me. If you say that you have no answers, I shall take up the
dubious part.
If you are impatient, please investigate why Tulsidas who was a
contemporary of Janhagir and lived in Ayodhya for a number of years and
was surely a more staunch devotee of Ram than fake Rambhaktas, led by
Advani, never mentioned the act of the demolition of Ram Mandir by Babar
or his lieutenant. Second, please go through the Ph. D. dissertation of
the late Father Kamil Bulke published as "Ram Katha" and also have a look
at Rajesh Kochhar's "The Vedic People" and what he says about Ram and
Ayodhya. Please do not forget that Bulke's thesis was supervised by none
other than Prof. Mata Prasad Gupta of Allhabad University. You may ask
M.M.Joshi, formerly of the Allahabad University and a top leader of the
political front of the Sangh Parivar about Gupta's scholarship.
Professor Kochhar is a renowned scientist and archaeologist and is
currently Director, National Institute of Science, Technology and
Development Studies, New Delhi. His book was published in 2000 by Orient
Longman was a best seller for many months and has been highly praised by
scholars here and abroad.
