I was always keen to know about the beliefs existed prior to Christianity in Greek as many of the words used in ancient greek resembled with Sanskrit with same meanings like Ignite- Agni, Door- Dwar, Path- Path, Nose- Nasika, Eyes- Akshi, hand- Hast. The spelling of roman numbers also derived from Sanskrit I believe. Even the word Gnosis sounds like Gnana, a Sanskrit word meaning Knowledge.

The philosophy of Gnosicism sounded like Vedanta, the philosophy of 'Upanishads' to me. For revealing me to the philosophy of ancient Greek I am thankful to Dai Remmei (Hopefully a name of the person but not the name of the organisation Opus Dei !!!). The talk of dualism and non-dualism in this post is sure an eye-opener about the philosophy of ancient Greek civilisation, which I suspect might have been lost due to the aggressive campaigning by the Christianity.

I remember a programme National Geography channel had aired, showing the discovery of 'Gospels of Judas'. The programme said there was a woman also in Jesus' team and often he used to smile at her. Some of his disciples did not like this behaviour. I hope the NG was not inspired by Dan Brown.

I once again say thank to Dai Remmei for the nice mail. However, I still believe that we should also think prophets as human beings. When I say so, I talk of our 'incarnations' as well.
