Hi Friends, When Indian cricket is celebrating the richness of IPL, the money made from this new business is making the richer more rich. Why a portion of money which is made in this land from a mass public, can't be used for the betterment of the needy people in India. What IPL can do and give to BPL (below poverty line) people in India? Why not NREGA kind of program is as much popular as IPL in India?
We love cricket. We love Bollywood with equal passion. What happens when Bollywood merges with cricket? It's chaos at the box-office, the business touches opposite to zenith. Let's face it; IPL has taken a toll on Bollywood's health, with Cineplexs wearing a deserted look. Cricket mania has gripped the entire nation! Perhaps, there wasn't much fodder for discussion in last week. The general awareness about IPL is negligible in rural India but, what about in intellectual India? One question that's uppermost on everyone's mind that - when world is crying for credit crunch then India has been praised for its sustainable economy, possibly more due to IPL kind of stuffs, but back to cricket; do IPL affects us by anyway?
