If we want a casteless society and be truly secular,we must change or remove our surnames.when I was in school at xaviers,our surnames denoted nothing till mandal commission came and we and our kids are paying price of sins committed by our ancestors.god has given equal brains to all and reservation on basis of caste wasnt accepted by mahatma gandhi too.I ve seen sc/st students rushing to buy expensive mobiles from scholarship money ,which is meant to buy books.politicians will not touch this for political gains but income should be criteria for reservation and not caste.I am not against reservation but the cream will leave the nation in disgust.

I believe that it is a good sign.
Casticism has already ruined Bihar and Biharis within and outside Bihar love to be with their caste-mates. It is time to shed this evil thought and consider ourselves BIHARIS or INDIANS only. For, instance, I never tell my caste to even a fellow Bihari. I have not told my children about my caste and they do not know that from any other source too.
we must love Bihar and Biharis.
