A P P E A L Dear all Tribal Welfare Society organises One day protest demonstration in the matter of 'COLD BLOODED KILLINGS OF INNOCENT TRIBALS at SINGARAM" Day : Monday Date:16Th February, 2009 Time: 11 A.M to 4 P.M. Venue: Budha Talao, Raipur I make this public appeal to all the social activists, intellectuals, civil rights organizations, political leaders, trade union activists and citizens to come and join us by extending your support in demanding a probe by CBI to bring the facts to surface. This is not the first time that such killings have taken place where the innocent tribals have been killed by state and state supported actors but by labeling innocent people as Naxalites. This has happened in the past and has happened now at Singaram too,where twenty tribals have been killedm suspected to be the act of Special Police Officers and Salwa Judum people. Enough is Enough. We must raise a voice of protest and if there is nothing to fear on the part of the state, why they are afraid of a CBI inquiry? In the name of cleansing naxalites, no body is empowered to kill innocent tribals. It is time to raise a voice demanding justice. A memorandum, addressed to Her Excellency, The President of India, through His Excellency, The Governor of Chhattisgarh will be submitted, demanding CBI inquiry to reach to the truth. We request you to all to please support the same by signing the same.
