Many thanks for yout kind response. I have some wonderful friends from various communities and religious denominations. That is India.

However, If this country has to progress and become a force to reckon with, which it deserves because of its great heritage, it must take the path of true secularism. Govt. must become indifferent to religions, languages and regions and caste system. It does not mean it is against them and it will supress them.. It will not support any activity based on that premise. Otherwise, in view of great diversity of the country, these acts of distribution of justice to all factions of population based on some denomination will have to proliferate and reach a proportion beyond the control of any one. The choice is ours.

A healthy Body has a healthy mind.

With starvation what can one expect of the Indian children today????

Fighting for their very servival they cannot be burdened with the
heavy and demanding CBSE syllabus today.

Even the wealthiest of kids in the UAE suffer much mental problems ,
their parents too have breakdowns etc.,. Not a single child gets
through the grade X or Grade IIX CBSE exam with out paying a heavy
tuition fees, private coaching for each and every subject,
including social science.

This is the truth, I am a mother of four sons, who were tortured to
do their studies only because we had no other go, and could not
afford to put them into other schools as the fees was much higher
than the Indian Schools whcih forced down the CBSE syllabus.

Each subject will cost a child, Dhs300/- for 3/4 hour X 2 times a
week preivate classes together with about ten or fifteen other
students, being taught in the tuition teachers home, or in one f the
students homes, as they keep changing the place to avoid getting
caught by the ministry offficials etc for giving private tuitions in
the UAE.
Every where in the lower gulf region, the teachers pay is small but
the tuition fees collected ranges upto 30,000 Dhs per month, with
out a word of lie, and this is well known to the management who
pretends not to know about this matter.

Ordinary syllabus must be enforced to give all our Indian children a
fair chance to get educated .Screw the CBSE sylabuss and those who
are incharge of this too!!!!!

Dear Dr. A K Isaacs,

Madrasas are not neccessarily religious schools only as that is word for school. You might have seen some of the picture of the UN Schools in Palestines where Madrasa is written as Arabic translation for school. One need to learn the history of sceince communication to understands that Madrasas have been the centres for all kinds of learning. You may get many articles on history of sceince for learning the contribution of Madrasa graduates.
