Dear Mr. lal you have raised a very sensitive matter. coming from the community it is very important. Pl. try to find out how many percentage of dalit population benefit from reservation policy of the government. I think though the constitution provisions for a higher ratio, i can say less than 5% of the population enjoy it. The reason is the same people/family, those who are enjoying the power are perpetuating this benefits. Tell me one good reason why should the reservation benefit be given to the son/daughter of an IAS officer or e minister. Once somebody enjoys such privilege their offsprings be debarred from getting reservation so that other dalits who are down below in the society can come up in life. It is this vocal group who are pertuating the benefits & it should be stopped. rgds |
