Regarding Indira Gandhi and the alleged mudslinging by Organizer.
I think every Indian worth his salt should ask whether the rule by Nehru- Indira- Rajiv -Sonia rule was good for the country. Nothing about the family has been holy. Let me ask a question. Why Mathai's (Nehru's secretary) book on Nehru still banned in India ? If you can grab a copy of those sold long back, you will know what damning things were committed by him.
Let us come to Indira's case. The 'Gandhi' surname is a sham. Her husband Feroze Khan was suddenly renamed after his mother's family name of Ghandi - which was conveniently changed to Gandhi. Though they were married in a mosque in London, Nehru arranged for a Vedic type of marriage for them in Delhi.
Why grieve for other Indian women together with Indira ? Indira was a social figure. She will be subject to all the media grilling. I, as an Indian , am not proud of our former prime ministers except Lal Bahadur Sastry.
By kindling the old bitter memories, you have made my heart heavy. My heart goes to the innocent and illiterate who were and are still duped by the above political people.
