Hindu gods/goddesses are mythological (imaginary/Non-historical) characters. Yet, their festivals are celebrated on big way who never, ever done any good work for welfare of human beings.(Because they are not historical characters). Whereas greatmen like Buddha, Mahavira, Ashoka, Dr. Ambedkar, Ramabai Ambedkar, Mahatma Phule , Krantijyot Savitribai Phule and other such ideals had sacrificed their lives for welfare of people, but they and their works are not celebrated on big way as compared to these Hindu non-historical gods/goddess. This is the great tragedy of Indian's life, because people can't search out difference between Historical characters and Non-Historical characters, for one may believe or not.

RADICAL DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOD'S PRAYER AND BUDDHA VANDANA.
GOD IS NOTHING BUT CREATION OF ENORMOUS THINKING POWER OF MAN
& PRAYERS TO GOD ARE FUTILE AND MIRAGE.
Animal does not believe in god, soul or anything supernatural. Eat and to be eaten is the law of animal culture/kingdom and the same is also the law of nature too. On the contrary, man believes in all these things. Why does he believe in? Because he has enormous thinking power which is itself a unique feature. Let us deduct enormous power of thinking from the brain of man, then he will come to status of animal at par. At this stage he will forget god, soul or anything supernatural. Again take out thinking power from brain, man will again not believe in god, repeat the process so on. Thus, with this experiment, it is crystal clear that god, soul or anything supernatural is creation of enormous thinking power of man. Nature's scientist RUSO stated, "All false (theistic) religions are enemies of Nature". V.R.Narla said, "God is only to those who trade (emotionally and financially) in name of god, others need not worry about god". These opinions/logics are nightmare to god traders in the world.
Prayers to god are just like a long distance telephonic conversation between two parties in which one party i.e. a devotee prays like anything , asks everything good for him , his family members, good luck, wealth, and what not! He prays very solemnly by way of devotional song, aarti, and deep meditation. But alas! the glaring fact of human life on the earth and unconscious nature (a sort of tragedy of human being) that there exists nobody (another party i.e. god) at another end of the telephone to hear all supplications i.e. prayer, hymns, aarti solemn appeasement by way of meditation. This is the whole fact of life, for one may believe or not. It is quite clear from the above that, alas! the tragedy of human life on the earth, "There is nobody (god) present at another end of telephone to receive/hear theist's supplications, is the whole fact of life." Then what is observed through rational eyes! i.e. The devotee prays like anything so solemnly. He asks for himself and by himself only so gravely. This is utter symptom of madness/metal disorder, because it does not adhere to logic/reason. On the other hand, Buddha -Vandana (Simple recitation of Trisharan, Panchsheel, noble eight fold path, noble ten parmitas, and other doctrines of the Buddha) where he does not ask anything from the Buddha: but his own commitment and firmness to tread himself on the said virtuous path of Dhamma. The entire teachings of the Buddha lead him to within himself, which tend to possess radical positive change in his mind. And with this, there is no need of another end of telephone in case of Buddha-Vandana. In fact, he asks for himself and by himself also like theist devotee; but what does he ask? He asks himself to refrain from all evils, embraces virtues deeply to his conscience and purify mind (summary of Dhamma path). Having been so, there is no need of far end of telephone for the Buddhist devotee. So is the crystal clear radical difference between god's prayer and Buddha-Vandana.
Another radical difference is - The Centre of Buddha's Dhamma is Man and not (imaginary/non-existing) God. Whereas, theist religion's centre is (imaginary/non-existing) God. As such, Buddha's Dhamma directs MAN – how to behave with MAN. Whereas, theist religions direct MAN– how to behave with (imaginary/non-existing) GODS/GODDESSES.
It is further stated that god's prayer is purely sentimental-cum-monetary business and of course, it is futile/useless, if anybody observes it through rational eye. Let us calculate materially/eventfully i.e. Since there is no relationship between god and fulfillment of desire, Purohits/Priests exploit fear (of god), ignorance, greed, passion and selfishness exiting in the mind of ignorant people and gullible who come all the way in form of devotees, irrespective of their high academic and professional degrees and wealth they possess. Simply, they waste their time, money and eventual inconvenience/stress cause to them, in perennial pursuit of mirage/passion/lust. For instance, Hoteliers nearby such temples never miss the chance to exploit them. Interestingly, there exists a custom of offering 'Navas' or 'Mannat'. Devotee prays god and decides on his own accord that he would pay some thing in form of 'Navas' or 'Mannat' after completion of his desire. Yet, the devotee is smart enough that he does not trust god, as he does not offer 'Navas' or 'Mannat' before fulfillment of his desire. Interestingly, such people are ultimately deceived by parasite Purohit/Priest as 'Navas' or 'Mannat' is credited in account of Purohit/Priest. This is 'Intellectual Corruption' and I am very sorry to say, "India is an intellectual desert". Looking to the glaring fact, temple businesses have been running in trillions of rupees for millennia in this country. For instance, Tirupati Balaji temple makes business to a tune of Rs 600 Crores turnover per annum (just like a giant business company; but without set up i.e. raw material, process unit, machinery and etc) , followed by Vaishnavdevi temple and Saibaba temple of Shirdi. Temple business earns Rs 23. 20 lakh-crore whereas this country's earning is Rs 5. 54 lakh-crore. I.e Temple earning is around 4. 50 times more than earning of this country. (Ref.: Hari Narke, Samrat, dated30/04/06). Where does this huge money go? Bahujans must seek this answer from temple authorities or government or in Parliament. This amount should be implemented for welfare of Bahujans and other social welfare schemes of the government. Isn't it?
Of course, there is no relationship between god and fulfillment of his desire. Same has been conceded by noted psychologist of Harvard University Dr. Richard McNally while commenting on the project in this regard. He told, "This is a big wastage of time and money." This comment was offered by him while research was continued on relation between the fulfillment of devotee's wishes and prayers of god he performed so solemnly for. This project was run for 4 years worth 2.30 million dollar. Indeed! This research is a bitter fact must be known to the people who used to be in queue of Tirupati Balaji and other such temples. If the fact is known to them, they will be free from this witchcraft of priestly class. Whereas, in case of Buddha-Vandana, the Buddhist pays reverence/high respect to the Buddha by chanting Trisharan, Panch-sheel etc. and offering flowers, lighting candle etc. There is no business at all in case of Buddha-Vandana, only it is a commitment to tread on the path of 'Dhamma', which must be noted by the readers.

Good afternoon, it is such a pleasure to be in this historic event. I am just delighted to be here. I was six days old, I was told, when my paternal grandfather passed on his religion to me and declared me a Muslim girl. As a result I lost all my human rights.
According to Islamic Justice, in the court of law the testimony of two women is equal to that of one man. A woman's life is worth half of that of a man's. Women inherit only half as much as their male siblings. A woman cannot divorce, or get custody of her children.
Islam denies women the educational opportunities by forcing them to marry and have children at ages where their counterparts in civilized societies are still playing with dolls. Muslim Women are banned from competing in the Olympics.
I have come to this gathering from California to speak about my only sister, Dr. Homa Darabi, whose brief life and death scenario may serve as an example for the impact these laws have on women living in Iran and other Islamic countries.
My sister, Home, in addition to being a doctor of medicine, was an outspoken feminist and political activist. She also was a naturalized citizen of the United States . In 1990 She was order to comply with the strict rules of hijab. She refused. So she was considered an apostate.
My sister was a medical doctor specializing in pediatrics, general psychiatry, and child and adolescent psychiatry, and was licensed to practice medicine in New Jersey , New York , and California .
To help the deprived and poverty stricken Iranian children, she returned to Iran in 1976 and was appointed as a professor at the University of Tehran , School of Medicine . She opened her private practice at the same time and very quickly became known all across Iran . She established the first children's Psychiatric Clinic in Tehran ,
She was one of the strong supporters of the revolution, however, when the democratic revolution turned Islamic, Homa became devastated and totally broke away from all politics. She then devoted her time to her profession as a Medical Doctor and continued her struggle as a women's right activist.
To shut her up in retaliation, she was first fired from her position as a professor of Medicine at the University of Tehran and was later harassed in her private practice. At age 52, she finally had to close down her practice and be confined to her home for the first time in her life.
As a prominent psychiatrist, her services were requested by devastated and helpless parents whose draughts were subjected to the flogging and beating for such violations as wearing make up and nylons. They would beg her to go to the courts and declare their daughters as insane to suspend their punishment. To label a perfectly, healthy, sane young woman as insane was not a big issue with the parents. They wanted their daughters unharmed, but it was a moral issue with Homa. She felt she was ruining young life forever.
A month prior to her death, a sixteen-year old girl was shot to death in Northern Tehran for wearing lipstick. Homa could no Longer stand this brutality. She protested the oppression of women by setting herself on fire in Northern Tehran , on February 21, 1994 . Her last cries were:
Death to Tyranny!
Long Live Liberty !
Long Live Iran !
For over twenty centuries we, the people, especially women have suffered and endured violence because of God, Allah, or other imaginary beings. It is time to end this cycle of violence and love and respect each other because we are all human, alive and here to enjoy our short stay on this planet. Let's make the twenty-first century the Godless-Century. Let's remove this divisive issue fragmenting mankind from our minds, our everyday lives and our nation.

They have no more special knowledge about life than every person. 6 The Churches and clergy beg for a living and grow fat. They should be made to account for every penny they receive and pay taxes like everybody else. 7 Birth control information should be available to all who seek it. 8 Blessings and medals are useless to protect against trouble of any kind. 9 Human are responsible for what they do. Crimes (Sins) cannot be forgiven by religious rites, holy water, or doing penance/self-punishment. 10 The time to live is now, the place to live is here, and the way to be happy is to make others happy. | DO YOU THINK THIS IS FALSE ? 1 In god we trust. Even an agnostic like Bertrand Russell, the foremost British philosopher in our times who was awarded a Nobel Prize, said that among the founders of all religions in this world, he respected only one man - The BUDDHA. The main reason was that the Buddha did not make statements regarding the origin of the world. Bertrand Russell said that the Buddha was the only teacher who realized the true nature of the world. but, while many others made unjustifiable claims based on rather simplistic logic on how the world originated, the Buddha did not commit himself to any statement about the origin of the world.
C.C. Hadke's comment : The very object of religion is to convert vicious man into gentleman. Whereas, the question like, "Who is creator of universe?" is the question in purview of science. So, scientist, anthropologist, DNA scientists only can answer. Their answer would be very close to truth. But, founders of religion (except Buddha) had answered very plainly that "God is creator of universe," although they did not know a,b,c,d of science and technology at their dark age vis-a-vis science and technology. That is, 700 AD at Arabia where Prophet Mahammad was born and brought up. It was dark age in respect of science and technology. So, Islam scriptures never, ever be reliable that God/Allah has created universe. His answers on topic of science is just "Speculative philosophy". Theist religions are mixtures of "Speculative and Human philosophy". Whereas, Buddha's philosophy is pure Human philosophy"2
# Buddhist scripts - "Tipitaka" were written during rein of Ashoka, 250 years after Mahaparanirvana of the Buddha, till then monks and people had memorized Doctrines of Buddha. One writer quoted that the Buddhist scripts were writtne after 500 years of Mahaparinirvana of Buddha, is wrong information. The same writer had quoted while comparing Buddhism and Islam, that the Buddha was believing heaven, hell, god or anything supernatural are false statement. The same did not match with docrines of the Buddha. He must not come on the net with such raw/false opinions. Let the writer believe in god, soul, supernatural things on his own, but he should not bind a tag of such thing on Buddha and his rational and humanitarian philosopies.
